Organized by the City Halls of Santa Maria (RS) and Chattanooga (USA), the meeting aims to foster discussion between the medium-sized cities on how to develop the economy and society without losing its uniqueness and to establish networking among cities.
The meeting will take place on 10 and 11, bringing together politicians, scholars and experts who, through their experiences, show solutions and economic and human potential of urban medium-sized agglomerations. Still, weave projections for the future and the necessity for action in the present.
Among other names, the economist Ana Carla Fonseca, the mayor of Santa Maria, Cezar Schiner, and the secretary of the municipality, Cezar Busato; the mayor of U.S. city of Chattanooga, Ron Littlefield, Mayor of Maringá , Silvio Barros, and the mayor of Campinas, Hélio Santos have confirmed thier presences at the conversation tables.
